WGOLF: Six Big Ten Golfers Earn NGCA Awards

Six Big Ten women's golfers earned recognition from the National Golf Coaches Association, including three on the All-America teams. Purdue's Laura Gonzalez-Escallon and Numa Gulyanamitta received second-team All-America laurels after helping the Boilermakers finish second at the NCAA Championships, while Michigan State's Caroline Powers reeled in honorable mention accolades.

Gonzalez-Escallon and Powers also took home All-East Region honors while Minnesota's Teresa Puga and Samantha Sommers and Ohio State's Rachel Rohanna received the same awards in the Central Region.
