The Big Ten Mobile Tour made its way to the University of Minnesota Campus yesterday and students are loving it! We enjoyed showing off the Stagg-Paterno trophy and talking with fans at the Recreation Center yesterday evening as well as at Joe Senser's earlier in the day. Big Ten and Gopher fans are great and it is what helps make up our legendary team.
Another important aspect that makes our team a vital part of the Legends Division is our head coach, Jerry Kill. As mentioned earlier in the blog, Jerry Kill visited Joe Senser's yesterday and expressed how excited the team is for the Floyd of Rosedale trophy game on Saturday. Not only will he show his excitement on the field, but he and his wife, Rebecca, have decided to show their great appreciation for the University of Minnesota student fans! Watch Coach Kill's video from Gopher Athletics below for all the information:
On Saturday Coach Jerry Kill and his wife will be hosting a lunch, free to students, outside the gates at TCF Bank Stadium and Coach Kill will even be out there meeting students at 12:20 p.m. Coach Kill has spent much of his time here at Minnesota interacting with fans and students, getting to know this campus. He has done many events handing out free tickets, items, and taking photos with many loyal fans and students. His enthusiasm and passion is what makes him a great coach for Minnesota.
Jerry and Rebecca Kill would love to see students out at the lunch before the game, so head out there and be sure to stop by the Mobile Tour on the way! The Mobile Tour will be at TCF Bank Stadium's Gate E before the Minnesota vs. Iowa game on Saturday beginning at 11:00 a.m., so come out to see us before heading in to see your Minnesota Gophers take on the Iowa Hawkeyes at 2:30. GO GOPHERS!
