Cousins and Wilson Named Finalists for Manning Award

Michigan State's Kirk Cousins and Wisconsin's Russell Wilson were named finalists for the the Manning Award, the only quarterback award that takes the candidates' bowl performances into consideration in its balloting. Cousins ranks among the top three in the conference in both pass efficiency and passing yards per game and has tossed 21 touchdown passes. Wilson is on pace to set the new NCAA record for pass efficiency, currently boasting a rating of 192.90. He leads the Big Ten with 28 touchdown passes and has thrown for nearly 2,700 yards. The two quarterbacks will lead their teams in the inaugural Big Ten Football Championship Game on Saturday.
