Eight Big Ten wrestling teams appear in the first NWCA/USA Today Coaches Poll of the regular season, including a new top-ranked team in the country. Iowa makes its 2011 debut at the top of the poll, taking over for No. 2 Penn State. Minnesota holds No. 4 this week, while No. 6 Michigan and No. 7 Illinois each move up one spot from the preseason poll. Ohio State jumps three spots into the top 10 at No. 10, while Northwestern moves up to No. 17. Nebraska enters the poll this week, making its first appearance this season at No. 24. Michigan State and Purdue are also receiving votes.
