Penn State's Maya Hayes was named to the 2011 Missouri Athletic Club's Hermann Trophy Women's Semifinalists list, as announced on Sunday. The Nittany Lion forward led the nation with 31 goals and 70 points in 26 games. She was second in the nation in goals per game (1.19) and game-winning goals (9). Hayes also placed third in the nation with 2.69 points per game.
Three finalists for the award will be announced on Friday, Dec. 9. The winner will be announced at the Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis on Friday, Jan. 6.
