The Big Ten is one of only two conferences in the nation to have four or more teams ranked in the top 20 of the Associated Press (AP) poll that was released on Monday, behind only the Big East's five top-20 squads. It will mark the eighth time this season the Big Ten has had four teams ranked in one or both polls. Ohio State appears at No. 11 in this week's rankings, while Purdue checks in at No. 15. Nebraska moves up three spots to No. 16 this week after wins over Iowa and Illinois last week. Penn State checks in at No. 19 to round out the top-20 Big Ten teams in the week's AP poll. Following its win over the Lady Lions on Sunday, Michigan State is among other squads also receiving votes this week.
