Iowa 69, Illinois 62
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- It took 39 minutes and 50 seconds for the University of Iowa women's basketball team to make its first 3-pointer, and it came just in the nick of time. Senior Kamille Wahlin's long ball with 10.9 seconds remaining evened the tally at 55, and Iowa carried the momentum into overtime to notch a 69-62 victory over Illinois on Thursday night on Mediacom Court inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Nebraska 62, Indiana 48
Lincoln - The No. 19 Nebraska women's basketball team exploded on a 30-4 surge midway through first half on its way to a 62-48 victory over Indiana at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Thursday night. With the victory, Nebraska improved to 13-1 overall and 2-0 in the conference with a win its first-ever Big Ten home game. Indiana slipped to 5-11 overall and 0-3 in the Big Ten. Sophomore Jordan Hooper notched her fourth straight double-double and her sixth consecutive 20-point effort with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Hooper also tied a career high with two assists. The 6-2 forward from Alliance, Neb., who has earned three of the last four Big Ten Player-of-the-Week awards, owns seven double-doubles and nine 20-point performances on the year. RECAP

Minnesota 68, Northwestern 60
Freshman Rachel Banham scored a career-high 26 points and added eight rebounds as the University of Minnesota (10-7, 2-1 Big Ten) women's basketball team claimed its first true road victory of the year, 68-60, at Northwestern (10-5, 0-2 Big Ten) Thursday evening in Big Ten action from Welsh-Ryan Arena. Along with being the first true road win for the Gophers in 2011-12, the victory was also the first at Welsh-Ryan Arena since Jan. 11, 2007. Banham notched 17 points in the second half alone, which included 10 points from the free throw line and five critical points in the waning seconds of the contest. RECAP

Purdue 63, Wisconsin 52
KK Houser did it all against Wisconsin. The Purdue guard scored 17 points and played shutdown defense against Wisconsin's Taylor Wurtz to help No. 18 Purdue beat Wisconsin 63-52 on Thursday night. Houser also had five steals and four assists as the Boilermakers (13-3, 3-0 Big Ten) won their sixth straight game. She also was the primary defender against Wurtz. One of the conference's top scorers at 16.1 points per game, Wurtz was held scoreless on 0-for-10 shooting. She had reached double figures in every game this season. RECAP
