Crossroads.JPGSession One?  Straight ahead.  Session Two?  Turn Left.

Not that Iowa and Northwestern fans need any help finding Bankers Life Fieldhouse, but the fact of the matter is, the 2012 Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament has taken a new direction for its opening round games on Thursday.

With the addition of Nebraska, the 2012 event is formatted differently from those in years past.  This year's event includes four games over two sessions on Thursday, and the top four seeds in the regular-season standings now receive byes into the quarterfinals.

So Hawkeye fans, best of luck in Session One opener against Illinois at 11:30 a.m.  Wildcat fans, prepare to open Session Two versus Minnesota at 5:30 p.m.
