Illinois vs. Minnesota
Game 3: Minnesota 14, Illinions 4
Behind back-to-back home runs from Erica Meyer and Erika Smyth, the University of Minnesota softball team used an eight-run seventh inning to rout Illinois, 14-4. The victory not only give the Golden Gophers (19-9, 1-2 Big Ten) their first Big Ten win of the season, but it also marks second-year head coach Jessica Allister's 50th career victory. RECAP

Iowa vs. Wisconsin

IOWA CITY, Iowa.-- Tough defense and great pitching from Cassandra Darrah led the Wisconsin softball team to a 5-4 win over Iowa at Pearl Field in Iowa City, Iowa Sunday afternoon. Darrah improved to 9-5 after pitching three complete games against Iowa over the weekend. She struck out four batters and allowed 10 hits in seven innings. RECAP

Michigan vs. Penn State

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Powered by a season-high 13 hits, the No. 20-ranked University of Michigan softball team completed a weekend sweep against Penn State with a 6-0 win Sunday afternoon. The Wolverines received 3-for-4 performances from sophomore outfielders Lyndsay Doyle and Nicole Sappingfield while junior shortstop Amy Knapp turned in a 2-for-2 outing with two runs batted in on a home run in the sixth inning. Freshman LHP Haylie Wagner recorded her 15th win of the season in the shutout, allowing just two hits and striking out five. RECAP

Ohio State vs. Indiana
Game 3: Ohio State 7, Indiana 3
COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio State softball team claimed its first series win of the season after defeating Indiana, 7-3, in game three Sunday at Buckeye Field. With the victory, the Buckeyes improve to 16-11 overall and 2-1 in Big Ten play. With the score tied 3-3, the Buckeyes posted four runs in the bottom half of the sixth inning en route to the win against Indiana (16-15, 1- 2 Big Ten). Freshman Caitlin Conrad started the OSU momentum when sent a deep fly ball over the right center wall to make it 4-3 for her second long ball of the year. She finished the day at the plate going 2-for-2 with a home run, a double, RBI and two runs scored. RECAP

Purdue vs. Michigan State
Game 3: Purdue 2, Michigan State 0
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Boilermaker softball team finished out a three-game sweep of Michigan State with a 2-0 victory on Sunday. Purdue managed two runs in the second inning and relied on its defense the rest of the way in the win. Freshman Lexy Moore (12-2) picked up her second win of the series, striking out three in the complete game victory. Purdue scored its two runs on eight hits and two MSU errors, while allowing the Spartans five hits and committing one error. Sophomores Lindsey Rains and Tori Chiodo tallied two hits apiece for the Boilermakers, while junior Maia Monchek and freshman Ashley Burkhardt picked up the RBI. RECAP
