Only two conferences in the nation boast 10 or more teams in the top 100 of the latest NCAA RPI, and the Big Ten is one of those two. Behind the SEC, the Big Ten's 10 top-100 squads are the second-highest total of any conference in the nation. Since the debut of the rankings on March 26, at least nine Big Ten teams have appeared in the top 100 each week, with 10 or more in each of the last three editions. Michigan leads the conference contingent at No. 24, followed by Northwestern and Purdue at Nos. 47 and 48, respectively.
