Seeds and Lane Assignments Announced for Big Ten Championships

All seven Big Ten rowing teams travel to Indianapolis, Ind., this weekend to compete in the 2012 Big Ten Rowing Championships at Eagle Creek Park. The teams take to the water beginning at 9 a.m. ET on Sunday, May 13, in a seven-lane, finals-only regatta.

Wisconsin leads all schools with three No. 1 seeds, holding the top boat in the I Novice Eight, II Novice Eight and II Varsity Four races. Defending champion Ohio State has No. 1 seeds in the I Varsity Four and the II Varsity Eight races, while Michigan claims the top seed in the I Varsity Eight race.
