ILLINOIS def. MINNESOTA, 7-5
Illinois scored twice in the bottom of the eighth and Reid Roper slammed the door with a perfect ninth inning as the Illini stayed alive in the hunt for the postseason with a 7-5 win over Minnesota at Illinois Field on Thursday. The Orange and Blue got a run when Gopher reliever Tom Windle threw a pitch to the backstop on an attempted intentional walk, then Jordan Parr drove home Willie Argo with a safety squeeze bunt. It was only the Illini's second win in their last at bat this season and first since a 9-8 victory at Lamar on Feb. 26, the seventh game of the season. RECAP & BOX SCORE

INDIANA def. OHIO STATE, 10-8
Two days after the fourth walk-off this season at Sembower Field, the Hoosiers were at it again with another drama-filled, come-from-behind victory. Indiana Baseball ripped off nine unanswered runs in the late innings to climb out of an 8-1 hole and top Ohio State by the final score of 10-8. RECAP & BOX SCORE

#13 PURDUE def. IOWA, 11-8
The University of Iowa baseball team dropped an 11-8 decision to 13th-ranked Purdue Thursday night. The two conference foes combined for 19 runs and 29 hits. The game is the first in a three-game set at Duane Banks Field. RECAP & BOX SCORE

NEBRASKA def. MICHIGAN, 15-2
The University of Michigan baseball team fell to Nebraska, 15-2, in the opener of a three-game Big Ten set Thursday night (May 17) at the Wilpon Complex, home of Ray Fisher Stadium. Michigan had a 2-1 lead after the first frame, but the Cornhuskers scored multiple runs in three innings to take the first game. RECAP & BOX SCORE

PENN STATE def. MICHIGAN STATE, 3-2
Penn State first baseman Jordan Steranka hit a two-run homer in the top of the eighth inning to push the Nittany Lions past Michigan State, 3-2, Thursday afternoon at McLane Baseball Stadium. RECAP & BOX SCORE

Saint Louis def. NORTHWESTERN, 6-4
Northwestern raced out to an early three-run lead, but errors eventually cost the Wildcats as they dropped the opening game of their three-game series with Saint Louis 6-4 Thursday afternoon at Rocky Miller Park. RECAP & BOX SCORE
