Erik Bakich has been named Michigan's head baseball coach after having spent the past three seasons in the same position at Maryland. In the last 11 years as a collegiate coach, Bakich has recruited to campus and/or coached 81 players that have been selected in the MLB Draft, including 25 in the first five rounds and nine first-round picks.
