Nebraska's Taylor Martinez and Ohio State's Braxton Miller were two of nine quarterbacks named "Stars of the Week" by the Manning Award, which is granted to the nation's top signal caller and the only quarterback award that includes bowl performances in its balloting. Martinez connected on 26 of 34 passes for a career-high 354 yards and matched a career best with five touchdown passes in leading the Cornhuskers to a 49-20 victory over Southern Miss. Miller completed 14 of 24 passes for 207 yards and two touchdowns and added 161 yards on the ground, a school record for a quarterback, and a rushing score in a 56-10 defeat of Miami (Ohio) in Urban Meyer's Buckeye debut.

College football fans can go to the Allstate Sugar Bowl Facebook page to vote for what they think was the best performance from this past weekend. When voting closes on Thursday at 11 a.m. (Central), the top vote-getter will be announced as the Manning Award Player of the Week. Click here to vote for your favorite candidate.
