Nebraska's Taylor Martinez was one of eight quarterbacks named "Stars of the Week" by the Manning Award, the only national quarterback award that includes the candidates' bowl performances in its balloting. Martinez completed 27 of 39 passes for 342 yards and three touchdowns and added a rushing score at Northwestern. He led two scoring drives in the fourth quarter to rally Nebraska from a 12-point deficit for the 29-28 victory.

College football fans can now go to the Allstate Sugar Bowl Facebook page to vote for what they think was the best performance from this past weekend. When voting closes on Thursday at 11 a.m. CT, the top vote-getter will be announced as the Manning Award Player of the Week. Click on this link to vote.
