Ohio State's Bradley Roby was named a semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award, given annually to the nation's top defensive back. The Big Ten has claimed five Thorpe Awards, most recently when fellow-Buckeye Malcolm Jenkins was honored in 2008.
