Ohio State's John Simon has been named the Lott IMPACT Player of the Week. The senior defensive lineman from Youngstown, Ohio, had five tackles for loss, including two sacks, and forced a fumble as Ohio State improved to 6-0 with a win over Nebraska Saturday. Only the seventh two-time captain in Ohio State history, Simon is acknowledged as a fierce competitor and natural leader both on and off the field. No one is a bigger fan than his head coach, Urban Meyer.  "If we have another child I want to name him Urban John Simon Meyer," said Meyer.  "I'm not ashamed to say I love him.  Love that guy, man." In recognition of Simon's  performance, the Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation, sponsors of the Lott IMPACT Trophy, will make a $1,000 donation to the general scholarship fund at Ohio State.
