Penn State 71, Ohio State 56
The #8/8 Penn State Lady Lions rallied from an 11-point deficit early in the second half on the way to a 71-56 win at Ohio State Sunday afternoon. The victory is the school-record 14th consecutive Big Ten regular-season win for the Lady Lions, surpassing the previous mark of 13 set over the 1992-93 and 1993-94 campaigns. PSU is now 7-0 in conference play for the first time since 2004-05 and at 17-2 overall is off to its best start since the 1993-94 squad went 22-2 to open the year. The Lady Lions have also won 11-straight games overall, the sixth-longest streak in school history. Senior center Nikki Greene continued her solid play with her fourth double-double of the season and 13th of her career with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Junior guard Maggie Lucas scored 14 of her team-high 18 points in the second half and also added four rebounds, two assists and one steal. Iowa 63, Michigan 57
Late production by sophomore Bethany Doolittle highlighted a comeback for the Hawkeyes during a 63-57 victory in front of 2,607 in Crisler Arena. It is the second loss in the Big Ten Conference for the Wolverines, who entered the game rated No. 23 in the nation. Iowa won its third game in a row and improves to 16-5 overall, 5-2 in the Big Ten. The Hawkeyes have won 2-of-3 league games on the road this season. Michigan is 16-4, 5-2. Doolittle scored a team-high and career-high 19 points of 9-of-15 shooting from the field and 1-of-1 from the line along with pulling in four rebounds. Iowa senior Jaime Printy added 14 points with five rebounds. She was 4-of-4 from the free throw line. Sophomore Samantha Logic scored 10 points with eight assists and six rebounds. Purdue 67, Michigan State 62 (OT)
Drey Mingo had 22 points and 10 rebounds and No. 15 Purdue defeated No. 25 Michigan State 67-62 in overtime on Sunday. It's the fourth overtime win for the Boilermakers without a loss in Big Ten play. KK Houser scored 16 points and also had 10 rebounds for Purdue (17-3, 6-1). Taylor Manuel scored 12 points. Kiana Johnson led Michigan State (16-4, 4-3) with 19 points. Becca Mills scored 11 points and Jasmine Thomas scored 10 for the Spartans. RECAP
