Michigan 83, Minnesota 75
The University of Michigan men's basketball team used double-digit runs in both halves to take down Minnesota, 83-75, on Thursday night inside Williams Arena. Junior guard Tim Hardaway Jr., sophomore guard Trey Burke and freshman guard Nik Stauskas all finished in double-digit scoring with 21, 18, and 11 points, respectively. Michigan shot 28-of-51 (55 percent) from the floor, including 10-of-20 (50 percent) from behind the arc, while Minnesota recorded 25-of-52 (48 percent) in the game. Northwestern 68, Illinois 54
Reggie Hearn scored a team-high 20 points and Northwestern led wire to wire in rolling to a 68-54 victory over No. 23/22 Illinois at Assembly Hall Thursday evening. Hearn paced a balanced scoring attack as NU had five players in double figures. Jared Swopshire and Alex Marcotullio scored 12 apiece, while Dave Sobolewski and Tre Demps each had 10. It was the second-consecutive victory for Northwestern at Assembly Hall. RECAP
