Indiana 62, Purdue 61
The Indiana-Purdue rivalry lived up to its expectation Wednesday night at Assembly Hall. The IU women's basketball team took down No. 22/21 Purdue 62-61 on a buzzer-beater by senior Jasmine McGhee who finished with 26 points to lead all scorers. McGhee scored 26 points while shooting 11-of-17 from the floor, tying her career mark for most field goals in a single game. Aulani Sinclair added 16 points for IU, going 6-of-11 from the floor including three 3-point field goals. Sasha Chaplin was the third Hoosier to score in double figures as she tallied 10 points. IU outrebounded Purdue, 35-33, and shot 43.6 percent as a team from the field. RECAP 

Michigan State 54, Northwestern 45
Michigan State women's basketball overcame a slow offensive start to beat Northwestern, 54-45 tonight at the Breslin Center. The Spartans won their 20th game of the season, reaching the 20-win plateau for the 10th-consecutive season, the longest active streak in the Big Ten. MSU (20-6, 8-5) was led by 15 points from sophomore Becca Mills, while senior Jasmine Thomas filled the stat sheet with 10 points, six rebounds, three assists, three steals and a career-high three blocks. Penn State 95, Illinois 62
The #7/9 Penn State Lady Lions (22-3, 12-1 Big Ten) used a 61.1% shooting effort, their first time better than 60% in a game since 1996, in a 95-62 victory over Illinois (15-10, 8-5) on Wednesday night in the Bryce Jordan Center. Junior Maggie Lucas just missed out on her second career double-double with 22 points on 7-of-11 shooting, including 3-for-5 from three-point range, to go along with nine rebounds and five assists. Senior Alex Bentley filled the stat sheet with 20 points, seven assists, five rebounds and five steals. Senior Mia Nickson was very effective in the post, scoring 13 points to go with seven rebounds, while junior Ariel Edwards rounded out the double-digit scoring with 11 points. RECAP
