Nebraska 6, Illinois 2 (Game 1); Illinois 5, Nebraska 4 (Game 2)
Game 1: The 19th-ranked Nebraska softball team rallied for its sixth win its final at bat, scoring five times in the top of the seventh inning to complete a 6-2, come-from-behind victory over Illinois in game one of a Saturday doubleheader at Eichelberger Field. RECAP
Game 2: The second game of the day began much like the first, as the Illini soon put up a 2-0 lead. Once again, the Huskers came back late to take that lead, but unlike the first game, Illinois pushed right back, scoring three runs in the bottom of the sixth to defeat Nebraska, 5-4, and capture its first Big Ten victory of the season. The Illini put together seven hits in the game, with two each by Jenna Mychko and Katie Repole. RECAP

Wisconsin 3, Iowa 0
Runs, hits and solid pitching fueled the Badgers' win over Iowa in the series finale Saturday afternoon at Bob Pearl Field in Iowa City, Iowa. Wisconsin used eight hits and took advantage of two Iowa errors to post a 3-0 victory over the Hawkeyes and claim the series. The Badgers overcame a nine-inning heartbreaker in the series opener on Friday to take the next two games from Iowa and win the series. RECAP

Michigan State 10, Indiana 7
Michigan State improves its record to 16-13 overall and 2-0 in the Big Ten as it defeated Indiana 10-7 on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Carly Nielsen notched her first win of the season on the mound for the Spartans. Senior Jayme O'Bryant and junior Sarah Bowling both tallied home runs. "This was a huge program win for us," said head coach Jacquie Joseph. "We didn't play well but found a way to win, that's my second favorite way to win a game. Our team showed great mental toughness to hang in there and just keep scoring." RECAP

Minnesota 14, Northwestern 9
Minnesota hit six home runs, with sophomore third baseman Kaitlyn Richardson and freshman right fielder Kayla Wenner each hitting two, as the Gophers defeated Northwestern, 14-9, on Saturday afternoon. Minnesota (21-11, 4-1 Big Ten) scored multiple runs in each of the first four innings to open a 12-3 lead against the Wildcats (15-13, 1-3), and 11 of the team's 14 hits went for extra bases. RECAP

Michigan 18, Penn State 4 (Game 1); Michigan 9, Penn State 6 (Game 2)
The No. 14 University of Michigan softball team used big innings in game one of its doubleheader with Penn State and a big outing from sophomore catcher Lauren Sweet in game two to sweep the Nittany Lions, 18-4 and 9-6, at the Nittany Lion Softball Park on Saturday. RECAP

Purdue 8, Ohio State 7 (9)
The Boilermakers softball team overcame a late-inning rally by Ohio State, pulling off an 8-7 nine-inning victory on Saturday to win the weekend series. Purdue led the game6-1 after five innings, but the Buckeyes came back to take a 7-6 lead in the seventh. The Boilermakers knotted it up in the bottom of the seventh before scoring the game-winner in the ninth. Five Boilermakers posted two-hit days as the team racked up its eight runs on 14 hits and two Buckeye errors. Ohio State scored its seven runs on 10 hits and one Purdue miscue. RECAP
