Senior Kevin Johnson set a school record, and senior Justin Parr's three-run triple put him closer to UI's hitting streak record in Illinois' 9-2 win over Ohio State on Friday night. Johnson took a no-hitter into the sixth inning and grabbed the top spot in school history with 333 career innings pitched. Senior Justin Parr extended his hitting streak to 22 games, as the Illini racked up double-digit hits (14) for their fifth win in a row and allowed their fewest hits on the year with two. RECAP

INDIANA 12, Butler 2
Behind a 12-run, 17-hit attack, the No. 19 Indiana baseball team (27-8) defeated Butler, 12-2, at Bart Kaufman Field on Friday evening in the first of a three-game series. Sophomore Scott Donley went 4-for-4 with two runs batted in, two runs scored and two doubles hitting in the clean-up spot behind sophomore first baseman Sam Travis. Travis blasted his sixth home run of the season and also added a pair of doubles and RBI to go along with three runs in five at-bats. RECAP
