The 2013 Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) Hermann Trophy Watch Lists were announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Tuesday, and a combined four Big Ten Conference student-athletes were recognized.

Illinois' Vanessa DiBernardo and Penn State's Whitney Church and Maya Hayes were the Big Ten's women's soccer representatives, while Northwestern goalkeeper Tyler Miller was named to the men's watch list. The MAC Hermann Trophy is annually awarded to the nation's top Division I soccer player.

DiBernardo was named first-team All-Big Ten in each of the past two seasons, and was the 2010 Big Ten Freshman of the Year. Church was tabbed first-team All-Big Ten and was the 2012 Big Ten Defender of the Year, while Hayes has collected Big Ten Forward of the Year and first-team All-Big Ten honors in each of the past two seasons. Miller is a two-time first-team All-Big Ten goalkeeper.

At the end of the regular season, the respective men's and women's watch lists will be narrowed down to 15 student-athletes. Fans will be able to vote for the semifinalists beginning in November on the MAC Hermann Trophy website. From that pool of 30, six finalists (three men, three women) will be chosen for the award. The winners will be announced in January.
