Thirteen Big Ten Men's Soccer Players Named Top 100 National Selections

The Big Ten Conference had 13 men's soccer players named to the Top Drawer Soccer National Top 100, which was unveiled on from Aug. 13-15. Indiana's A.J. Corrado (No. 8), Chris Ritter from Northwestern (No. 9) and Michigan's Fabio Pereira (No. 10) were all top-10 selections.  

Defending national champion Indiana had a conference-high five student-athletes recognized in the Top Drawer Soccer National Top 100, followed by Northwestern (4), Michigan (2), Michigan State (1) and Wisconsin (1).

Indiana enters the 2013 men's college soccer season as the nation's No. 1 team, as announced in the NSCAA/Continental Tire preseason top 25 poll. Northwestern, which won a share of the Big Ten Championship last season, also begins the campaign in the top 25, checking in at No. 19. The Big Ten Preseason Coaches' poll will be released next Wednesday, Aug. 21.
