Four Teams Ranked in Latest Top 30 Poll

The USTFCCCA women's cross country top 30 poll was released, with four Big Ten Conference teams earning recognition. Penn State led the way at No. 11, followed by No. 13 Michigan State, No. 17 Michigan and No. 20 Minnesota.

Penn State won the Dolan Duals in Lock Haven, Pa., last weekend, and Michigan State held its spot at No. 13 after its performance at the Spartan Invitational. The Wolverines remained at No. 17 after winning the Purdue Invitational on Sept. 13. Minnesota earned a first place finish at the Oz Memorial on Sept. 6 and maintained its No. 20 spot in the rankings.

In this weekend's Big Ten women's cross country action, Indiana and Purdue will compete at the Indiana Intercollegiates on Friday, Sept. 20. On Saturday, Northwestern will travel to the Iowa State Invitational, and Nebraska will host the Nebraska Invitational.
