Two Big Ten Teams Ranked in Latest Coaches' Top 25

The latest NSCAA/NCAA women's soccer coaches top 25 poll was released on Tuesday. Earning recognition from the Big Ten was Michigan at No. 11, followed by No. 13 Penn State.

The Wolverines (5-0-0) remained at No. 11 after their shutout of No. 22 Pepperdine on Sept. 6. Penn State (3-1-1) moved up one spot from No. 14 after defeating Boston University, 1-0, on Sept. 6.

Three Big Ten schools received votes in this week's poll. Joining top vote-getters Ohio State (4-1-1) and Wisconsin (3-1-1), undefeated Minnesota earned votes for the first time this season after winning the Minnesota Gold Classic.

In Big Ten play this week, Penn State travels to Bucknell on Tuesday, and Wisconsin competes at Loyola on Wednesday. On Thursday, Michigan will host Detroit, while Northwestern entertains Western Michigan.
