Four Teams Recognized in Latest Top 25 Polls

Four Big Ten teams are ranked in the updated NSCAA/NCAA Coaches, Soccer America and Top Drawer Soccer top 25 women's soccer polls.

Michigan led the way in the coaches' poll at No. 12, followed by No. 17 Penn State and No. 22 Nebraska. Wisconsin also received votes in the poll. In the Soccer America poll, Michigan jumped 10 spots to No. 11, while Penn State and Nebraska landed at No. 21 and No. 22, respectively. The Top Drawer Soccer poll ranked Penn State at No. 10, followed by No. 15 Michigan.

Improving in all three polls, Michigan capped off a trio of road wins by defeating No. 11 Penn State, 1-0, in State College, Pa., on Oct. 13. Nebraska shut out Purdue, 4-0, in West Lafayette, Ind., on Oct. 11, while Wisconsin dropped a 3-2 decision versus Illinois on Oct. 12.

In this week's full slate of Big Ten women's soccer, all 12 teams will face conference opponents. On Thursday, Illinois and Northwestern will collide, while the Ohio State-Penn State match will air on BTN beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET.

On Friday, Purdue will travel to Michigan State, Indiana will play at Michigan, Minnesota will entertain Iowa and Wisconsin will host Nebraska. All 12 teams will compete on Sunday, including an Illinois-Penn State matchup that will air on BTN at 1 p.m. ET.
