Four Teams Received Recognition in Latest Top 25 Polls

Four teams garnered recognition in the latest NSCAA/NCAA Coaches, Soccer America and Top Drawer Soccer top 25 men's soccer polls, including Michigan State, Northwestern, Penn State and Wisconsin.

Penn State jumped four spots in the coaches' poll to No. 13, followed by No. 17 Michigan State and No. 19 Northwestern. In Soccer America's weekly poll, the Wildcats led the way at No. 13, followed by No. 18 Penn State and No. 25 Michigan State. In the Top Drawer Soccer poll, Penn State improved to No. 15, while Northwestern checked in at No. 17. Michigan State and Wisconsin were ranked No. 19 and No. 25, respectively.

Penn State earned recognition for its 2-1 double-overtime defeat of Michigan State in East Lansing, Mich., on Oct. 20. The Northwestern-Ohio State matchup resulted in a 0-0 draw, while Wisconsin fell to Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich., on Oct. 20.

In Big Ten men's soccer this week, Indiana will host Evansville and Ohio State will entertain Oakland on Wednesday. Indiana and Michigan will go head-to-head in a match that will air on BTN at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday. On Sunday, Ohio State will host Cleveland State, Northwestern will travel to Penn State and Michigan State will play at Wisconsin.
