The latest NSCAA/NCAA Coaches, Soccer America and Top Drawer Soccer top 25 women's soccer polls were released. Earning recognition from the Big Ten in the respective polls were Michigan, Penn State, Nebraska and Wisconsin.
In the coaches' poll, Michigan checked in at No. 10, followed by No. 16 Penn State and No. 21 Nebraska. Wisconsin also received votes in the poll. Michigan landed at No. 10, followed by Penn State and Nebraska at No. 17 and No. 18, respectively, in the Soccer America Poll. In the Top Drawer Soccer poll, Penn State topped the list at No. 9, followed by No. 13 Michigan and No. 24 Nebraska.
The Wolverines led the way in the coaches' poll after winning their fifth-straight game against a Big Ten opponent, a 3-1 win over Purdue in Ann Arbor, Mich., on Oct. 20. Penn State improved in all three polls after shutting out Illinois, 5-0, in University Park, Pa., on Oct. 20. Nebraska leads the Big Ten after recording a pair of road wins against Wisconsin (2-1) and Minnesota (1-0). Wisconsin earned votes following a weekend split against Nebraska and Iowa.
With a full lineup on Sunday, all 12 Big Ten squads will face conference opponents this week.
