Ohio State's Ryan Shazier was named the Chuck Bednarik Award Player of the Week for his career-best efforts against Illinois. The linebacker totaled a career-high 16 tackles (11 solo), 3.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and a forced fumble. The junior has now recorded 89 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, five quarterback hurries and three forced fumbles, and leads the Big Ten with an average of 1.45 tackles for loss per game.
