Penn State's Wolverton Named Finalist for College Boot Award

Penn State's Andrew Wolverton was named a finalist for the 2013 College Boot Award, which annually honors the top player in men's college soccer. The Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year finished the season with 69 saves, eight shutouts and a goals-against average of 0.75. Wolverton helped lead the Nittany Lions to the Big Ten Championship, and was named first-team All-Big Ten. Penn State will face New Mexico on Dec. 1 in the "Sweet 16" of the NCAA Tournament.
