Georgia Tech 93, Illinois 69
Illinois hung with Georgia Tech for a while in Wednesday's Big Ten/ACC Challenge game at McCamish Pavilion, but the Yellow Jackets' size and defensive pressure proved to be too much for the Illini as Georgia Tech took a 93-69 victory. Jacqui Grant and Ivory Crawford led Illinois with 14 points each, but the Ramblin' Wreck out-rebounded the Illini 56-44 and held a 64-32 advantage in the paint. RECAP

Indiana 71, Virginia Tech 65
The Indiana women's basketball team improved to 8-0 following a 71-65 win over Virginia Tech in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge Wednesday night in Assembly Hall. The perfect start through eight games is the program's best since the 1994-95 season. Larryn Brooks led the Hoosiers (8-0) with 37 points, setting an IU freshman record for scoring. RECAP

Florida State 60, Michigan State 58
A late comeback by the No. 25 Michigan State women's basketball team fell just short on Wednesday night, as Florida State knocked off the Spartans 60-58 at the Tucker Center. MSU, who falls to 5-3 on the season, was led by 20 points from senior Annalise Pickrel, and 19 points and 10 rebounds from redshirt freshman Aerial Powers. RECAP

North Carolina 75, Nebraska 62
No. 15 Nebraska jumped to a 16-7 lead, but the hosts from No. 18 North Carolina used a 23-4 surge late in the first half to claim a 75-62 win in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge at Carmichael Arena on Wednesday night. The Huskers fell to 6-2 with their second straight loss, while the Tar Heels improved to 7-2 on the season. RECAP

Maryland 67, Ohio State 55
No. 8 Maryland overcame a shaky first half to beat Ohio State 67-55 Wednesday night in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Ohio State (6-4) closed to 56-53 with 2:58 left, but a 3-pointer by Lexie Brown, a layup by Moseley and two free throws by Thomas ended the suspense. Ameryst Alston scored 18, and Cait Craft and Matina Ellerbe had 11 apiece for the Buckeyes, who were coming off a loss to top-ranked Connecticut. RECAP

Notre Dame 77, Penn State 67
The #11/10 Penn State Lady Lions were plagued by 22 turnovers and significant foul trouble among their starters as they dropped a 77-67 decision to #5/4 Notre Dame (7-0) in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. Ariel Edwards led the way with 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the floor. RECAP
