OHIO STATE (rv/-) 2, MICHIGAN STATE 2 (OHIO STATE wins shootout, 2-1)
With two power-play goals in the final 1:34 of regulation - including the game-tying tally with 1.7 left on the clock - the Ohio State men's hockey team rallied for a 2-2 tie at Michigan State Friday in Munn Ice Arena. The Buckeyes then won the shootout, 2-1 in five rounds, to pick up the extra point in league standings. Junior Tanner Fritz put Ohio State on the board at 18:26 of the third and senior Alex Szczechura netted the game-tying tally. RECAP

Andrew Copp and Zach Hyman scored twice, JT Compher had a goal and two assists, and Mac Bennett matched a career high with three assists to help the No. 10/10 University of Michigan ice hockey team earn a 7-3 win over Penn State at Pegula Ice Arena. In the first-ever meeting between the two teams, seven different Wolverines had multiple-point efforts in the contest. With the win, Michigan head coach Red Berenson moved into sole possession of fourth place on the all-time Division I coaching wins list, passing Rick Comley. RECAP

Grant Besse and Nic Kerdiles each tallied a goal and an assist while Joel Rumpel recorded 28 saves as the No. 12/12 Wisconsin men's hockey team completed a weekend sweep of No. 1/1 Minnesota with a 2-1 victory Friday night in front of a sellout crowd of 15,359 at the Kohl Center. RECAP
