With two goals from junior Matt Johnson, two assists from senior Alex Lippincott and 30 saves from freshman Christian Frey, the Ohio State men's hockey team skated to a 2-2 tie and shootout win at Michigan State Saturday at Munn Ice Arena. The Buckeyes, now on a five-game unbeaten streak (3-0-2), come away from the series with Michigan Statewith four points after two overtime ties and shootout wins. RECAP

PENN STATE 4, #10/10 MICHIGAN 0
Sophomore goaltender Matthew Skoff turned aside all 32 shots he faced and the Nittany Lions utilized a three-goal first-period, as the Penn State men's hockey team captured its first Big Ten victory with a 4-0 win over the 10th-ranked Michigan Wolverines at Pegula Ice Arena Saturday night. The Nittany Lions, who played in front of a sellout crowd of 6,170 fans, became only the second school this season to blank Michigan. Penn State also earned its first shutout of the season, while Skoff earned his third career shutout. RECAP
