Michigan State 70, Ohio State 49
Annalise Pickrel had 17 points, 11 rebounds and six assists as No. 25 Michigan State rolled to a 70-49 victory Saturday over Ohio State. Michigan State closed the first half on a 17-2 run, taking a 42-21 lead into the break and led by double digits the rest of the way. Becca Mills scored 17 points for Michigan State. Aerial Powers added 15 points and tied a career-high with five assists. The Spartans (17-8, 9-3 Big Ten) have won five of their last six games, bouncing back after losing to Nebraska 76-56 last Saturday. Michigan State is one game back of No. 11 Penn State for the top spot in the conference and hold a half-game lead over No. 21 Nebraska. RECAP

Minnesota 82, Northwestern 64
Head coach Pam Bortontallied her 300th-career victory as the University of Minnesota women's basketball team (17-9, 6-6) secured its fourth-straight Big Ten Conference win at Northwestern (14-11, 4-8), 82-64, Saturday afternoon. The four-game league winning streak is the first for the Golden Gophers since the 2008-09 season. With a short roster of just seven players, each Gopher contributed immensely to the 18-point road victory. Rachel Banham led all players with 32 points, while Amanda Zahui B. posted her 12th double-double of the year with 16 points and a career-high 18 rebounds. Kayla Hirt matched her career-high with 16 points and added a season-best eight rebounds, and Sari Nogahad 12 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals. RECAP
