Michigan 70, Illinois 63
Junior forward Cyesha Goree scored 30 points and grabbed 19 rebounds as the University of Michigan women's basketball team hung on for a 70-63 win at Illinois on Sunday afternoon at the State Farm Center. Goree scored her 30 points on 12-for-15 shooting with 19 rebounds -- 12 offensive and seven defensive -- to become just the second Wolverine to go for 30 points and 19 rebounds in a game. Freshman guard Siera Thompson scored 11 points with five assists and junior guard Shannon Smith chipped in 10 points, five rebounds and two assists. Junior guard Nicole Elmblad scored eight points with 11 rebounds and six assists in 40 minutes of action. Michigan outrebounded the Illini, 48-19, grabbing more offensive rebounds (21) than Illinois had total rebounds. RECAP

Nebraska 76, Indiana 61
All-American Jordan Hooper scored 31 points and broke the Nebraska women's basketball career three-point record to lead the No. 21 Huskers to a 76-61 win over Indiana on Sunday at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Hooper, a 6-2 senior forward from Alliance, Neb., drained a season-high six three-pointers to push her school-record total to 270, breaking the previous mark of 267 set by Kiera Hardy (2004-07). Hooper hit 10-of-18 shots from the floor in the game, including 6-of-12 threes, and 5-of-7 free throws to notch the ninth 30-point performance of her career. RECAP

Penn State 78, Wisconsin 68
The #11/11 Penn State Lady Lions (20-5, 11-2 Big Ten) used a 9-0 run late in the second half to post a 78-68 win over Wisconsin (10-15, 3-10) in the Eighth Annual Pink Zone at Penn State game in front of 12,585 fans, including 698 breast cancer survivors. The crowd is the sixth-largest crowd for a women's game in the BJC. The Lady Lions honored a Pink Zone-record 698 survivors at halftime that represented 3,499 years and six months of survivorship. The preliminary fundraising total for this year's Pink Zone is $196,364.50, which does not include donations from single-game ticket sales, t-shirt sales or the online auction. Senior guard Maggie Lucas (Narberth, Pa.) continued her stellar play with a game-high 25 points on 8-of-17 shooting to go along with five rebounds, five assists and a steal. RECAP

Purdue 74, Iowa 73
Courtney Moses scored 25 points, including the game-winning free throws with seven seconds left as No. 23 Purdue defeated Iowa 74-73 on Sunday. Moses had the last seven points for the Boilermakers (18-7, 8-5 Big Ten). Her 3-pointer broke a 70-70 tie at the 1:57 mark. After Samantha Logic made two free throws and then the go-ahead bucket for the Hawkeyes (20-7, 8-5) at 38 seconds, Moses knocked down a jumper 8 seconds later. Logic, who had her third triple-double of the year with 18 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds, scored again at 19 seconds but her foul set up Moses' heroics. Liza Clemons added 11 points for Purdue and Whitney Bays and Dee Williams had 10 each. Bays also had 10 rebounds. RECAP
