Stauskas Collects NABC First-Team All-America Honors

Michigan's Nik Stauskas was named a National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) First-Team All-American on Wednesday. Stauskas was also tabbed the Big Ten Player of the Year and a unanimous first-team All-Big Ten selection.

Stauskas leads Michigan with 17.4 points and 3.3 assists while pulling down 3.1 rebounds per game. He has scored in double figures in 30-of-34 games, with a Big Ten-best 13 20-point games. Against Wofford in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, he became the eighth Michigan sophomore to reach 1,000 career points.

Michigan will face No. 11 seed Tennessee in the NCAA Sweet Sixteen on Friday (March 28) at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis beginning at 7:15 p.m. ET.
