Nebraska 4, Michigan State 1
Following a rain delay that pushed back the start of Monday's series' finale by 90 minutes the No. 26 ranked Nebraska baseball team (35-17, 16-5) completed a series sweep of the Michigan State Spartans (26-23, 8-13 Big Ten) with a 4-1 win. The game only went 7.0 innings, as it was shortened due to the weather delay and Nebraska's travel schedule. Nebraska has now posted four Big Ten series sweeps this season, marking the first time in 14 years that the Huskers have swept four league series in the same year. During the 2000 campaign, the Huskers consecutively swept Kansas, Missouri, Texas A&M and Iowa State. The Huskers have won seven-straight games and since the start of April the Huskers are 21-5. Also, NU's 16 conference wins are the most for the Huskers since they won 17 Big 12 games in 2008. RECAP
