#21/22 WISCONSIN def. MINNESOTA, 68-61 (OT)
Minnesota rallied from a 13-point second-half deficit, holding Wisconsin scoreless for the final 7:43 of regulation to force overtime, but the #21/22 Badgers made 15-of-17 free throws in the extra session to escape with a 68-61 victory on Thursday night at Williams Arena. RECAP & BOX SCORE

#22/23 INDIANA def. ILLINOIS, 84-71
Illinois played like a desperate team Thursday night.

That didn't matter to Indiana.

Cody Zeller scored 22 points and Victor Oladipo and Christian Watford each had 18, igniting No. 23 Indiana's late charge to get past the Fighting Illini 84-71. RECAP & BOX SCORE

NORTHWESTERN def. IOWA, 83-64
So much for hitting the freshman wall. Reigning Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week Dave Sobolewski scored a season-high 23 points to go along with seven assists and four steals as Northwestern pulled away from Iowa in the second half for an 83-64 victory Thursday night at Welsh-Ryan Arena. RECAP & BOX SCORE

        Illinois 66, Ohio State 65
Champaign, Ill. - Alexis Burke's driving lay-up with 3.2 seconds remaining capped a 12-point comeback and a 66-65 victory for Illinois over No. 10 Ohio State at the Assembly Hall. The win marked the first for Illinois against a ranked team since defeating the Buckeyes in the 2008 Big Ten Tournament and the first over a top-10 team since defeating No. 10 Minnesota in 2003. That also marked just the third loss for Ohio State (21-3, 8-3) in the 2011-12 season. For Illinois, the victory was a long-time coming. After some tough losses down the stretch earlier in the season, the Illini have now won three straight games that have come down to the end, none bigger than Thursday night. RECAP

Iowa 75, Minnesota 58
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Earlier this week when asked what her team needed to do to replace the game-night contributions of Jamie Printy, Samantha Logic suggested quietly that everyone else on the women's basketball team at the University of Iowa needed to do just a little more than they would have before the Hawkeyes' all-Big Ten guard was lost for the season. Thursday night on Mediacom Court in Carver-Hawkeye Arena, the multi-talented freshman guard from Racine, Wis., did exactly that and a little more for good measure to lead Bluder's Bunch to a convincing 75-58 victory over Minnesota in the Hawkeyes' annual "Pink Game" in support of the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center. RECAP

Michigan 63, Nebraska 52
Four Wolverines scored in double digits -- Carmen Reynolds (16), Courtney Boylan (14), Rachel Sheffer (13) and Nya Jordan (11) -- in a 63-52 upset victory at No. 13 Nebraska. The Wolverines won their 18th game of the season on Thursday, surpassing their 2010-11 win total of 17. RECAP

Michigan State 72, Northwestern 58
EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State women's basketball team used a 12-0 run late in the first half to pull away from Northwestern, and cruise to a 72-58 win at Breslin Center on Thursday night. Senior Porsche Poole surpassed 20 points for the fourth-straight game, leading MSU with 20 points and a career high seven assists. Poole is the first Spartan since Liz Shimek at the end of the 2005-06 season to score at least 20 points in four straight games. The Spartans (15-9, 7-4), who have now won three straight games, had four players in double-figures. Senior Lykendra Johnson added 12 points and a game-high eight rebounds, while classmate Taylor Alton had 11 points and freshman Kiana Johnson posted 10. Alton also added a career high tying seven rebounds and three steals. RECAP

Penn State 69, Wisconsin 54
UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The No. 18/21 Penn State Lady Lions (19-5, 9-3) connected on 48.3% of their shots and landed four players in double figures on the way to a 69-54 win over Wisconsin (8-16, 4-8) Thursday evening at the Bryce Jordan Center. Sophomore Maggie Lucas, who was honored for surpassing the 1,000-point mark prior to the game, led the Lady Lions with 16 points via a 7-for-11 shooting performance. Junior Alex Bentley had 14 points to go along with three assists, while sophomore Ariel Edwards was a spark off of the bench with 14 points thanks to a 6-for-10 night from the field. Redshirt junior Mia Nickson rounded out Penn State's top scorers with 11 tallies to go with seven rebounds and three assists. In addition, senior Zhaque Gray reached the 800-point milestone with five points. Junior Nikki Greene led the team in rebounds with 10. RECAP
