Five Big Ten teams have earned rankings in the latest USTFCCCA women's cross country national coaches' poll. Michigan State checks in at No. 20, while Michigan appears at No. 22. Iowa also cracks the top 25 at No. 24, with Wisconsin (No. 26) and Minnesota (No. 27) not far behind. Penn State and Indiana are also receiving votes in this week's poll.

XC: Minnesota Sweeps Weekly Big Ten Honors

Minnesota's Stephanie Price and Ben Blankenship have been named the Big Ten cross country Runners of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday. Price reels in her second women's Runner of the Week honor of the 2010 season, while Blankenship earns the first men's Runner of the Week laurel of his career.

Six Big Ten teams have earned rankings in the USTFCCCA women's cross country national coaches' top 30, with four of the six moving up since last week's poll. Michigan State moves up two spots to No. 19, while Michigan jumps to No. 22, Wisconsin moves to No. 23, and Iowa rounds out the top 25 at No. 25. Penn State moves up one rank to No. 27, while Minnesota checks in at No. 28. Indiana and Ohio State are also receiving votes in the poll.

WXC: Michigan State's MacLeod Tabbed Runner of the Week

Michigan State's Emily MacLeod takes home Big Ten Runner of the Week honors after finishing in first place at the Spartan Invitational for the second straight year. The senior completed the 6,000-meter course in 20:46, 21 seconds ahead of her performance in last season's event. The weekly laurel marks the second of MacLeod's career.

XC and T&F: Big Ten Icon No. 19 Suzy Favor Hamilton

Big Ten Icons honors Suzy Favor Hamilton at No. 19 in their top 50 countdown. Favor Hamilton was a nine-time NCAA champion and 14-time All-American at Wisconsin in track and field and cross country. The native of Stevens Point, Wis., was named Big Ten Athlete of the Decade for the 1990s, NCAA Woman of the Year, and received the Honda-Broderick Cup as the nation's top female college athlete in 1990.

WXC: Minnesota's Price Named Runner of the Week

Minnesota junior Stephanie Price earns her first career Big Ten Runner of the Week honor after leading the Gophers to a win at the Oz Memorial Run on Friday. She finished the 6,000-meter course in 21:16, nearly a minute ahead of the rest of the field. The finish marks Price's career-best time in the 6K as well as the first medalist finish of her career.
