The Fighting Illini (10-2-1 overall, 3-1-1 Big Ten) jump four spots to No. 13 to lead the way for the Big Ten. The conference-leading Buckeyes (12-2-1, 6-0-0) check in at No. 17, seven spots higher than their ranking in last week's poll. The Golden Gophers (10-4-2, 2-3-1) drop six places from last week's rankings, sitting at No. 23. Wisconsin (7-4-4, 4-1-2) is also receiving votes.

The Big Ten Conference has announced its women's soccer Players of the Week with Michigan's Clare Stachel, Michigan State's Jill Flietstra and Ohio State's Rachel Middleman earning recognition. Stachel garners Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Flietstra earns Defensive Player of the Week and Middleman reels in Freshman of the Week accolades.

Ohio State maintained its spot atop the Big Ten women's soccer standings after another weekend of conference play, pushing its Big Ten record to 6-0-0 with wins over Wisconsin on Friday and No. 15 Minnesota on Sunday. Wisconsin rebounded with a win over Penn State on Sunday to remain in second behind the Buckeyes.
Michigan and Michigan State each posted back-to-back wins over the weekend, with the Wolverines earning their first wins of the Big Ten season. The Spartans picked up a non-conference win over Oakland on Thursday before taking a 1-0 decision against Northwestern on Sunday. No. 17 Illinois earned a win against Iowa in its lone contest of the week.

As the race for the Big Ten women's soccer title begins to take shape, all 11 conference teams prepare for another weekend of competition. The weekend kicks off this afternoon as Michigan State heads to Oakland for a non-conference match and Purdue and Michigan square off in Ann Arbor.
No. 24 Ohio State looks to continue its winning ways in Big Ten play, hosting two tough matches against Wisconsin on Friday and No. 15 Minnesota on Sunday. Penn State also hosts the Golden Gophers and the Badgers this weekend.
No. 17 Illinois and Iowa face off on Saturday in their lone match of the weekend, while Indiana welcomes Michigan on Sunday in its only contest of the week. Northwestern also heads to Michigan State on Sunday for a noon kickoff live on the Big Ten Network.

Ohio State's Paige Maxwell and Penn State's Krissy Tribbett and Tani Costa have been named the Big Ten women's soccer Players of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday. Maxwell receives the nod for Offensive Player of the Week, while Tribbett and Costa earn their first career weekly awards, taking Defensive Player and Freshman of the Week honors, respectively.

Another full weekend of Big Ten women's soccer competition concluded on Sunday, resulting in a new conference leader. Ohio State earned wins over Iowa and Northwestern to move to 4-0-0 in conference play and take over the top spot in the Big Ten.
