Illinois is one of six teams to have two players named to the watch list. Four Big Ten men's golf teams have earned top-50 marks nationally in this week's Golfweek/Sagarin rankings, with No. 23 Illinois leading the way. Indiana follows at No. 31, while Iowa checks in at No. 32 and Purdue holds No. 42 in the first set of spring rankings. Five Big Ten golfers also hold top-50 spots nationally, with Illinois' Luke Guthrie checking in at No. 8. Fellow Illini Thomas Pieters ranks 20th in the nation, while Purdue's Tyler Duncan holds No. 25. Iowa's Barrett Kelpin ranks 39th in the country, followed by Indiana's Chase Wright at No. 41.

With the fall season drawing to a close, four Big Ten men's golf teams have earned top-50 rankings in the final Golfweek/Sagarin rankings of the season. Illinois leads the group at No. 25, while Indiana checks in at No. 31, Iowa follows at No. 32 and Purdue stands at No. 41. Five individual golfers also appear in the top 50, with two earning top-20 marks to close out the fall. Illinois' Luke Guthrie is ranked seventh nationally, while teammate Thomas Pieters checks in at No. 19. Purdue's Tyler Duncan ranks 23rd, followed by Iowa's Barrett Kelpin at No. 40 and Indiana's Chase Wright at No. 42.
