Six Big Ten men's golf teams decorate the latest Golfweek/Sagarin national top 50, updated on Sunday night. Illinois leads the way again, holding No. 12 this week. Iowa follows closely, checking in at No. 14, while Ohio State also makes the top 25 at No. 23. Indiana holds No. 34 in the latest rankings, while No. 42 Michigan and No. 44 Purdue also appear in the top 50. Three individual Big Ten golfers appear in the top 50 as well, as Iowa's Vince India ranks seventh nationally, Illinois' Luke Guthrie holds No. 17 and fellow Illini Scott Langley ranks 41st in the country.

Michigan senior Lion Kim will compete in the 2011 Masters Tournament, set for this week in Augusta, Ga. Kim earned the invitation to the tournament after winning the 2010 U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship. Kim is the third Wolverine to compete in the prestigious event while still a member of the team and is one of three collegiate golfers to earn an invitation to this year's tournament.

Ohio State's Brad Smith and Purdue's William Sjaichudin have been named the Big Ten Men's Co-Golfer of the Week, the conference office announced on Wednesday. Smith took medalist honors at the FAU Spring Break Championship, while Sjaichudin picked up a first-place finish for the second consecutive week at the Butler Spring Invitational.

DeForest recorded four wins at the Callaway Collegiate Match Play Championship, while Sjaichudin won medalist honors at the Furman Intercollegiate.

Penn State's T.J. Howe has been named the Big Ten Men's Golfer of the Week, the conference office announced on Wednesday. Howe tied for third at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate, leading the Nittany Lions to the same finish in the team standings.

Illinois' Luke Guthrie has been named Big Ten Men's Golfer for the second week in a row, the conference office announced on Wednesday. Guthrie tied for second individually and led the No. 7 Illini to a first-place finish at the Louisiana Classics Tournament.
