JT Compher had two goals and two assists, and Derek DeBlois also scored twice to lead the 14th-ranked University of Michigan ice hockey team to a 5-2 road win over Michigan State at Munn Ice Arena. The win is Michigan's first at Munn since March 13, 2010, snapping U-M's four-game winless streak (0-2-2) on Michigan State's home ice. RECAP

Minnesota goaltender Adam Wilcox turned away a career-high 38 shots and four different Gophers scored as the top-ranked Minnesota men's hockey team downed No. 5 St. Cloud State, 4-1, in both teams' first-ever North Star College Cup game at the Xcel Energy Center Friday night. Minnesota will take on Minnesota Duluth in the tournament championship game Saturday at 7 p.m. CT. RECAP

Five different players tallied goals and Joel Rumpel recorded 23 saves to lead No. 9/9 Wisconsin to a 5-3 victory over Ohio State Friday night at the Kohl Center. The No. 14/14 Michigan hockey team earned a 2-1 win over the Michigan State Spartans with a late third period go-ahead goal on Thursday night at Joe Louis Arena. Phil Di Giuseppe scored the game-winner -- his first goal in eight contests -- at 17:42 of the third period to help Michigan snap a five game winless streak (0-4-1) and give the team its first Big Ten victory since Dec. 2 at Ohio State (5-4). The top-ranked Minnesota men's hockey team used a natural hat trick by junior winger Sam Warning to erase a 2-0 deficit en route to a 4-2 triumph over Ohio State on Hockey Day Minnesota at Mariucci Arena Saturday evening. Warning became the first Gopher to record three consecutive goals since Jay Barriball accomplished the feat Oct. 9, 2010, in a 5-4 opening-weekend win over Massachusetts. RECAP

Lee Reimer's goal at 3:41 of the third period snapped a 2-2 tie and lifted the Spartans to a 3-2 win over Penn State on Saturday night at Munn Arena. The victory gave the Spartans their first Big Ten sweep as they improved to 8-10-3 overall and 2-2-2-2 in conference play. RECAP

Goaltender Jake Hildebrand made a career-high 48 saves and the senior line of Greg Wolfe, Dean Chelios and Lee Reimer combined for all three goals as the Michigan State hockey team defeated Penn State, 3-0, on Friday night at Munn Ice Arena. The win was the Spartans' first in the Big Ten as they are now 7-10-3 overall and 1-2-2-2 in the conference. RECAP
