Once known as "The Buckeye Bullet," and eventually the world's greatest athlete of his era, Ohio State's Jesse Owens has been named the No. 3 Big Ten Icon by the Big Ten Network. Presented by Discover and hosted by Keith Jackson, Big Ten Icons continues at 9 PM ET on Sunday.

Big Ten Network to Air Seven Winter Championships in HD

The Big Ten Network will televise seven winter Big Ten Championships, beginning Feb. 26 with the Big Ten Women's Swimming and Diving Championships. The schedule also features men's swimming and diving, wrestling, men's and women's indoor track and field and men's and women's gymnastics.

The Big Ten Men's and Women's Gymnastics Championships and the second day of the Big Ten Wrestling Championships will be carried live, and all seven championships will be produced in high definition.

Three conference men's indoor track and field teams landed spots in the USTFCCCA national rankings, starting with Indiana who lands in the top-five for the first time this season at No. 5. Penn State also moved up this week, jumping one spot to No. 8. Ohio State rounds out the conference representatives. The Buckeyes remained at the No. 16 spot in Tuesday's poll.

Four conference men's indoor track and field teams landed spots in the USTFCCCA national rankings, led by Indiana at No. 6. The Hoosiers check in at the No. 6 spot while Penn State also moved up, jumping one spot into the top 10 for the first time this season, at No. 9. Ohio State and Minnesota rounded out the conference representatives. The Buckeyes jumped the highest of the conference teams, moving up five spots to No. 16 while The Gophers check in at No. 23 in Tuesday's poll.

Four Big Ten programs decorate this week's USTFCCCA national rankings, released Tuesday afternoon. Indiana leads the conference trio at No. 7, while Penn State and Minnesota follow close behind at No. 10  and 15, respectively.

LSU leads the nation at No. 1 with Florida and Texas A&M rounding out the top three spots.
