Four Big Ten men's soccer teams will travel to Fort Wayne, Ind. to compete in the 12th annual Shindigz National Soccer Festival this weekend. Indiana, Michigan State, Ohio State and Wisconsin will represent the conference in the three-day exhibition event Thursday through Saturday.
Wisconsin will be the first conference squad to take the field, as the Badgers face No. 7 Louisville at 5 p.m. CT on Friday. Michigan State and Ohio State will also see action on Friday, when the Spartans battle host IPFW at 6 p.m. CT and the Buckeyes take on Duke at 7 p.m. CT.
On Saturday, No. 12 Indiana will wrap up Big Ten play at the festival when the Hoosiers face professional Mexican side Chivas de Guadalajara, the most successful club in Mexican football, at 6 p.m. CT. The match will be televised live on Fox Soccer Channel.
Since 2000 the Shindigz National Soccer Festival has evolved into a true festival complete with youth clinics, golf outings, live entertainment, food vendors, tailgating parties and giveaway prizes. All games are played at IPFW's Hefner Soccer Complex.

Five Big Ten soccer standouts were named to the Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) Hermann Trophy watch list, it was announced on Monday. The MAC Hermann Trophy is the highest individual award in intercollegiate soccer.

Two Big Ten men's soccer teams have earned top-25 rankings in the NSCAA/Continental Tire preseason poll, released on Tuesday
After capping the 2011 season with its 25th consecutive NCAA Championship appearance, Indiana leads the way at No. 12. After winning both the Big Ten Championship and Big Ten Tournament last season, Northwestern comes in at No. 20.
