Three Big Ten players were selected in the 2012 National Pro Fastpitch, held Wednesday. Michigan's Amanda Chidester, the 2011 Big Ten Player of the Year, was the 11th overall selection by the Akron Racers, who also later selected Ohio State's Alicia Herron with the 14th pick, while Northwestern's Adrienne Monka was picked 18th in the draft by the Chicago Bandits.
