The Big Ten will be well represented at the NCAA East and West Preliminary Rounds, scheduled for May 26-28. The conference will send 139 women track and field athletes to the following sites: Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State and Purdue travel to Bloomington, Ind., for the East Preliminary Round, while Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin head to Eugene, Ore., for the West Preliminary Round.
In order to qualify for the NCAA Championships, two preliminary rounds will narrow the field to the 24 that will advance to the NCAA Championships. At each preliminary site, 48 individuals and 24 relays will compete in each event.
