The Big Ten Conference announced the women's gymnastics weekly awards on Monday. Michigan's Kylee Botterman was named the Big Ten Gymnast of the Week, while Minnesota's Kayla Slechta and Ohio State's Melanie Shaffer were named the Co-Freshman of the Week.

Six Big Ten teams highlight the latest GymInfo national women's gymnastics rankings, with Michigan again leading the way with the highest team average in the conference. The Wolverines sit at No. 8 nationally with an average of 195.167. Iowa moves up two spots to No. 15 with an average of 194.675, while Minnesota (194.567) falls four spots to No. 18. Illinois (194.492) jumps three ranks to No. 19, while Ohio State (194.375) falls to No. 21. Penn State (194.158) enters the top 25 this week, checking in at No. 23.

Illinois' Allison Buckley, Ohio State's Sarah Miller and Penn State's Sharaya Musser have earned Big Ten women's gymnastics weekly honors, the conference office announced on Monday. Buckley and Musser have been named the conference Co-Gymnasts of the Week, while Miller earns the Freshman of the Week award.

Big Ten women's gymnastics boasts five teams ranked in the latest GymInfo National Team Rankings, released on Monday. Holding a team average of 195.300 through two weeks of competition, Michigan checks in at No. 7 in this week's top 25 to lead all Big Ten teams. Minnesota holds the No. 14 team average in the nation at 194.625, followed by No. 16 Ohio State at 194.475, No. 17 Iowa at 194.325 and No. 22 Illinois at 194.063.

Through one meet, Michigan leads the way in a tie for No. 3 with a score of 195.700. Ohio State makes its debut in the rankings at No. 15 with a score of 194.475. Not far behind are No. 17 Minnesota (193.925), No. 18 Iowa (193.825) and No. 21 Illinois (193.650).
