Purdue 73, Michigan State 64

Brittany Rayburn scored a game-high 29 points including seven three-pointers to lead Purdue to a 73-64 win over Michigan State in the final quarterfinal of the 2012 Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament.  The Boilermakers held off a strong MSU rally late in the second half to earn a spot against top seeded Penn State on Saturday in the second semifinal contest.  Semifinal action begins on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. ET when Ohio State takes on Nebraska.

Penn State 78, Minnesota 74

Top seed Penn State held off a furious rally by No. 8 seed Minnesota in the waning minutes of the game to preserve a 78-74 win in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament.  The Lady Lions were led by sophomore Maggie Lucas, who had 22 points and seven rebounds on the night.  Penn State will face the winner of the upcoming Michigan State-Purdue game in the second semifinal contest on Saturday.

Nebraska 80, Iowa 68

Lindsey Moore scored 19 second-half points en route to a game-high 26 to lead No. 6 seed Nebraska to a 80-68 upset win over No. 3 Iowa in quarterfinal action at the Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament. The Huskers will take on second-seeded Ohio State in Saturday's first semifinal matchup.

Ohio State 57, Michigan 48

Tayler Hill scored 19 points and Samantha Prahalis became the Big Ten's all-time assists leader in a 57-48 win for Ohio State over Michigan.  The Buckeyes advance to face the winner of the upcoming Iowa-Nebraska game.

Quarterfinal Round

The quarterfinal round is here and we've got four games set to tip today. Games begin at 11:30 a.m. with No. 2 seed Ohio State taking on No. 7 seed Michigan. Tip times are below and all games will be live on BTN.

Michigan State 97, Indiana 68

Porsche Poole and Jasmine Hines teamed up for 17 points apiece to lead Michigan State to a 97-68 win over Indiana in the first round of the Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament.  The Spartans advance to face No. 4 Purdue in the quarterfinals on Friday.

Action will resume on Friday with the first of four quarterfinal matchups - No. 2 Ohio State vs. No. 7 Michigan - beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET.

Minnesota 81, Wisconsin 49

Led by Kiara Buford with 19 points, a balanced scoring attack from Minnesota overwhelmed Wisconsin, 81-49, in the first round of the Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament.  The Gophers advance to the quarterfinal round where they'll face the top seeded Penn State Lady Lions.

Next up, and the final first round game, is No. 5 Michigan State taking on No. 12 Indiana.

Nebraska 88, Northwestern 56

Jordan Hooper scored 18 points and pulled down six rebounds to lead Nebraska to an 88-56 win over Northwestern. The Huskers put together a 29-1 run in the first half that Northwestern was unable to surmount.

Nebraska advances to face No. 3 seed Iowa tomorrow.  

Thursday's evening session begins at 6:00 p.m. ET with Wisconsin facing Minnesota, live on BTN.

Michigan 68, Illinois 53

Courtney Boylan, Rachel Sheffer and Kate Thompson each posted double-digit scoring efforts to lead No. 7 Michigan to a 68-53 win over No. 10 Illinois in the first game of the 2012 Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament.  The Wolverines advance to face No. 2 Ohio State on Friday. 

Next up is No. 6 Nebraska vs. No. 11 Northwestern in the Huskers first ever Big Ten Tournament game.
