Porsche Poole and Jasmine Hines teamed up for 17 points apiece to lead Michigan State to a 97-68 win over Indiana in the first round of the Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament. The Spartans advance to face No. 4 Purdue in the quarterfinals on Friday.
Action will resume on Friday with the first of four quarterfinal matchups - No. 2 Ohio State vs. No. 7 Michigan - beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET.

Jordan Hooper scored 18 points and pulled down six rebounds to lead Nebraska to an 88-56 win over Northwestern. The Huskers put together a 29-1 run in the first half that Northwestern was unable to surmount.
Nebraska advances to face No. 3 seed Iowa tomorrow.
Thursday's evening session begins at 6:00 p.m. ET with Wisconsin facing Minnesota, live on BTN.

Courtney Boylan, Rachel Sheffer and Kate Thompson each posted double-digit scoring efforts to lead No. 7 Michigan to a 68-53 win over No. 10 Illinois in the first game of the 2012 Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament. The Wolverines advance to face No. 2 Ohio State on Friday.

The Ohio State women's basketball team has captured the Big Ten Tournament title for the third-straight season. The fifth-seeded Buckeyes defeated No. 2 seed Penn State, 84-70, Sunday afternoon at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.The 14-point win tied the largest margin of victory in Big Ten Tournament finals history, which was set back in 1999.
Jantel Lavender and Samantha Prahalis led Ohio State on Sunday, with Lavender recording 23 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists, and Prahalis posting 23 points, 9 assists and 3 rebounds.
